Renovating a home can be quite a challenge, especially when it comes to a 1960s house located in one of the capital's most iconic neighbourhoods. This project begins with a thorough restructuring, reinforcing the property with steel beams and columns to ensure its stability. The walls, marked by humidity, are waterproofed after removing all the plastering, giving way to one of the most captivating elements of the design: aged lime pigmented and polished with stone, which gives the surfaces a unique and handcrafted finish.

Details are key to giving a home its soul. The finishes include polished concrete floors, handcrafted ceramic tiles that add texture and color, engineered wood that adds warmth, and carefully crafted carpentry that complements metal doors and frames. The result is a transformation that not only revitalizes a worn-out property, but also honors its original essence and guarantees many more years of useful life with renewed style and character.
