The project transforms the scars of the landscape into symbols of resilience, using abandoned mines to restore the lost balance. Instead of erasing their memory, their history is paid homage to through an allegory of the old railway bridges, the driving force behind this activity. These bridges, symbols of unity and overcoming, inspire a design that reimagines space in ideas that connect us, that unite us.

Paths and ramps weave through the spaces, leading to areas designed for introspection and creativity. Each path allows visitors to wander, explore and find themselves, while immersing themselves in areas conceived for individual or collective activities. The design prioritizes fluid movement and emotional connection, representing a symbolic bridge between the site’s past and its transformation.
Typology

Local materials and raw textures dialogue with the surroundings, evoking the industrial history of the site. Finishes include metal structures that reinterpret railway bridges, combined with organic surfaces that enhance the rebirth of nature. Colours and textures blend harmoniously with the landscape, highlighting the site’s transition from devastation to a space of creation and contemplation.
