The roof seeks to subtly integrate into the landscape, using a simple geometry that, far from imposing itself, allows itself to be discovered among the local vegetation. The carefully placed openings reveal a welcoming interior that is connected to nature, creating a space that invites you to explore and experience it.
Concept
The building houses a tennis court, but is designed to be versatile. By removing the posts and net, the space is transformed into a meeting centre in the middle of nature. The outdoor esplanade is adapted as temporary parking for events, giving the project a functionality beyond its original sporting purpose.
Typology
The materials used are expressive and simple, laminated wood, steel and concrete, carefully selected to blend in without standing out aggressively. The vegetation hides much of the structure, reinforcing the idea of respect for the landscape.
